Lexmark X7675 Ink

The Lexmark #X7675# all-in-one printer is primarily aimed at small and home offices. This multi-function machine prints, scans, copies and faxes. The #X7675# can be connected by Ethernet and Wi-Fi which makes it easy to share the printer on a network. Connecting the #X7675# to a computer can be done via USB 2.0 and there are also facilities for a fax modem and local handset. Printing photos from memory cards is easy and you can look at photos on a 2.4 inch colour LCD screen first. To print you only need a single black and a single colour inkjet cartridge. To put them in you need to lift up the scanner. The #X7675# is supplied with high yield cartridges which allow about 500 pages of black pages and 350 of colour. If you want to print better photos there is a separate photo ink cartridge.Prints made using the #X7675# were of a high standard with no obvious problems. A page of ordinary text took 7.7 seconds to print in mono and 29.1 seconds in colour. Top quality A4 copies were done in roughly 62 seconds while 6×4 copies took roughly 72 seconds. The #X7675# wasn’t bad at scanning. 70 seconds was the typical time it took to scan at 600 dpi which could have been a little faster and the colour accuracy was pretty good although not always 100 per cent accurate. The #X7675# makes creating copies straightforward with its well thought out design and screen. 45 seconds was the time it took create a colour copy and it you want you can make as many as 99 further copies which can be enlarged or reduced. It is also possible to make copies from the 25-page document feeder or the scanner. The #X7675# makes faxing a doddle. Copies of scans can be kept on hard disc using the software that comes with the machine and email can be scanned and captured documents can be converted and edited with OCR. The #X7675 makes it easy to send faxes remotely.A duplex unit built into the #X7675# lets you print on both sides of the paper automatically. However, the input capacity is only 100 pages which limits the printer to extremely light-duty use.The #X7675# definitely has far more pluses than minuses. The versatility of this machine makes it ideal for many different things and its good build quality and five-year warranty only increase its value. As with any all-in-one printer it may not excel at any one thing but overall it does nothing badly. The Lexmark #X7675# is well worth considering.Theodore Beach is a member of the Cartridge Concept team which specialises in http://www.cartcon.co.uk/Ink_Cartridges/Lexmark/X__series_printers.htm.
